Cute place but a little cold in the autumn. I was staying for 3 nights and the rooms and beds are comfortable, but can be small if all the beds are occupied. It can be a bit cold in the night as the toilets are reached from outside and the kitchen as well. But it’s nice place and friendly staff , offering tours to discover la Serena and the area around .

We absolutely loved staying here. There are 4 different social areas. A games station. Our tv had a magic English movie channel that had only amazing films on it. We watched shawshank redemption, all the fast and furious, all the batmans, how to train your dragons x 3 and puss in boots! The staff were lovely and the kitchen SO CLEAN. Hottest shower with the best pressure in South America. Could not recommend this place enough :) felt so at home.

For me this was not a nice experience. They ask to much for what you get, very messy vibe. It did start of good because i arrived at 2am with no booking and luckily the girls room was empty. And they let me stay there immediately The next night the man from the reception thought it was a good idea to slam the door of the room open at 12am and let a woman inside. She then turned on the lights for 45 more minutes just to do her makeup?! She did not sleep in the room but the next morning she did came back for her stuff dressed really provocative. I was really annoyed and grossed out With a room of 3 beds it is really small!! And there is only 1 outlet which is in the most unconventional please in the whole room Also, theye where construction’s going on in the kitchen for a whole day whitout notice, so when i bought food to cook lunch i had to wait 8 more hours…

Lovely hostel with loads of communal areas - 2 outside (including roof terrace), 2 inside. Really reasonable price for private room, plenty of bathrooms and 24/7 front desk so feels really secure. They were really helpful with baggage and planning our time in La Serena as well, would reocommend
