This was an exceptional place to stay. The bathrooms were public but well maintained, the room clean and comfortable and the rooftop was another level, it has an spectacular view and I was able to work there since it has a perfect spot to install my Starlink along with a couple of outdoor lights that created a magical atmosphere. The receptionists are friendly and willing to help with anything. I will come here everytime I have to stay in Iquique.

Not often do I review but the service here was very poor. I arrived 9pm ish, walked from bus station only to be told there were no rooms available other than a 30000pesos private. Not a single hostel had availability so I ended up homeless for a night on the beach. I showed up at 6am the next morning only to be told when asking for a room the following night that they had lots of dorm availability. It turns out the staff simply couldn't be bothered. When I booked a room the night, I had to argue to be able to sit and charge my phone for 30 minutes before being kicked off the property until checkin. That being said the hostel was good for socialising with table tennis and pool and the rooms did the job. Lesson learnt to start booking hostels in advance.

I don’t recommend this place if you are an alone woman traveller . Its great spot for the safest neighborhood yes but inside of the hostal its doesn’t feel safe. The hostal is full of older mans who live there full time and drink mostly everyday and party.. it’s never quiet . They also do a bunch of coke in front of you and they ask you repeatedly to come join them . They made me really uncomfortable even if I told me many times to leave me alone. + the woman’s dorms have a really small storage and you can’t fit your bags in. And they have only one key for 6 people which leave the door open all day which isn’t good because anyone can come inside. Also The woman’s bathroom doesn’t have a door handle and it’s just a hole that anyone can see throught ??? Which also not really safe.
