The service and atmosphere are wonderful. The food is as good as it gets in Chile but that isn't saying a lot. Their specialty is crudo (beef tartare) but I ordered the hamburger. Would give them five stars if it wasn't that they boil their hamburger patty after a quick fry on the grill. It's just a Chilean thing, not specific to Das Haus.

An iconic place in Valdivia. Usually, after the midday is closed. A small place for lunch, very confortable and friendly. A great option to take a pair of "crudos" with local crafted beer (Bundor Beer or Kunstmann). Recommended place for eating local cuisine.

Nice and cozy restaurant. They have crudo, traditional sandwich and burgers, beer on tap, and kuchen

Prices are fair, and while the fast Chilean food like churrascos and completos are OK they aren't great. Crudo and the cuchen are excellent however.... Although I would prefer the crisp on some kind of hardier bread, not soggy loaf bread.
