At lunchtime many places serve a menú del día (set lunch), the bill shows a suggested 10% tip that is voluntary, and in the cities almost everything can be ordered for delivery through PedidosYa, Uber Eats or Rappi. Peruvian food is part of everyday eating in Chile: ceviche, causa, ají de gallina and lomo saltado are the classics, and ceviche is best at lunchtime, when the fish has just come in; many cebicherías serve a weekday lunch menu, and if you do not like heat, ask for it mild.

Was very pleasantly surprised and delighted by the quality of food at this great restaurant just a couple of blocks from the pedestrian area. The Duck was confit like fall off the bone tender with a delicious green rice and potatoes in a tangy yellow sauce and the Risotto with Camarones was equally delicious. The complimentary amuse bouche ceviche was stunning, making me wish I had a better appetite but knowing the portion sizes, we decided to forego a starter... and that was a wise decision in light of the portion sizes of our main courses. Prices while on tje high side, are very fair given the quality of the food, service and atmosphere. Wine list has a decent selection at reasonable prices, but it didn't seem like it was being stored properly as our bottle came a bit warm. However, it tasted fine. Staff were friendly, very professional and helpful and food was delivered in good time. Restaurant ambiance is modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean and thought has obviously been put into making it welcoming. Highly recommended if you find yourself in Arica.

Sole (lenguado) was offered as "special of the day" but Reineta a much lower quality fish was faked as sole. Price reflected the cost of sole which was quie high and not listed in the menu. The quality of food was ok. Also service was ok.
