Choosing a clinic, practice or pharmacy is about trust and convenience: check the opening hours, whether it works with FONASA (the public health fund), with your Isapre (private insurer) or only with private patients, and how to book an appointment (pedir hora), often online, by app or WhatsApp. In the public system primary care is at the CESFAM or consultorio where you are registered, minor emergencies go to a SAPU or SAR, and the SAMU ambulance number is 131. Many vets work by appointment and some offer 24-hour emergency care in the big cities; bring your pet's vaccination card, and if it is not yet microchipped, ask, since the law requires registration.

The business lists hours for five days of the week. Typical hours are 9:00–20:00. Note that it does not open on Mondays and Sundays. Also bear in mind that 1 January, 1 May, 18 and 19 September and 25 December are mandatory retail holidays, when most shops close. The listed phone number is 9 8211 9222. From abroad dial +56 followed by the number. Calling or sending a WhatsApp message ahead is the norm for bookings and appointments.

With 3.9 out of 5 on Google from 31 reviews, it sits mid-range for vets and animal clinics in Arica; the detailed comments usually say more than the score about service, prices and waiting times.
