I have been a couple of times in this place, the coffee, service and sweets are very good!. It was just that in the menu is not written that every “ham and cheese toast” has also mayonnaise. I don’t eat mayonnaise, and when I asked the waitress in charge if the toast was made with mayonnaise he told me “Yes”… I think it should be written on the menu because if someone doesn’t like it or has any food restriction is essential to know it before. Plus, I could not eat my toast, they didn't change it and I paid for it. (1 toast, 1 cappuccino, 1 espresso and a bottle of water: 14.300 pesos Chilenos. 14 euros/dollars approx).

I was in Santiago for a month in Jan 2019 I had an apartment not far around the corner in Las Condes, I visited this place most if not every day, I'd often sit in the garden bit outside. The owner is a very nice guy we had a few good conversations I guess he doesn't have too many English people visiting. My favourite things were the empenadas I think there was one with lamb and red wine maybe. The lemon pie was excellent, in fact all the food the was amazing to honest. I'd quite happily eat there every day if I lived in Santiago and that's the highest compliment I can give. I've attached photos of lemon pie and empenadas.

I came by for a quick lunch because I was nostalgic for Buenos Aires, having been there a few weeks before. The interior feels more like a market/bakery than a restaurant, and the service was alright but it was close to closing time so it felt like they were getting ready to finish the day. I got a milanesa sandwich that tasted good, but not excellent; and it ended up being fairly heavy on my stomach. It’s a decent lunch spot, but I don’t think I’ll be rushing back any time soon.

The empanadas were fantastic, and the owner was very kind and friendly. Would certainly recommend!

Fantastic quality and service at a reasonable price. These Argentinean empanadas leave local ones behind by miles - a totally different, superior product. Tended by its owner, Federico, (this is not a franchise or chain store) the selection and make of the empanadas at Gregoria Cocina cannot be truer to the original Argentinian style. I tried veggies, "humita" (corn), lamb, chopped veal, mushrooms, and caprese, if I recall well. They are properly stuffed and the crispy dough is great and clearly home-made, not of industrial make. In addition to that, desserts were great too. I tried a "rogel" (Similar to Italian "mille foglie" but more airy and softer) and my girlfriend a chocolate cake wich were delightful. I only wish they got the permit to deliver beer or wine on-premise. Definitely worth trying and repeating!
