They didn't meet my expectations of the place; the service was horrible, and the beds were ugly.

They have rooms with shared bathroom for 25,000 per night, and I was able to negotiate it down to 40,000 for two nights, which I think is about as cheap as you're going to get in Putre. The facilities are a bit rustic and simple, but very clean and tidy and in good condition. The room had a window to the sunny courtyard and no strange smells. There's a guest kitchen, a comfortable indoor dining area, and pretty good hot water shower (I would have liked it even hotter, but it really was good enough). It gets very cold at night, as is normal around here. You might want to ask for an extra blanket (I slept with all the blankets plus my clothes and a sleeping bag liner).

Basic hostel, but not basic price. No WiFi, no heating, little insulation, absolutely freezing at night. Very basic breakfast of bread and ham. Proprietor friendly by Altiplano standards. Really nothing special about the place.
