I have looked forward to going to Jimmy John’s since it opened in Chile, but I was quite frankly disappointed with the quantity of ingredients. The sandwiches were no where near the to the standard of Jimmy John’s that I have had in other places (in the US). The sandwiches were completely lacking. For the price you should be getting a very abundant and filling sandwich, not bread with a few bits here and there. The quality of ingredients was ok and service was decent even though they made a mistake on my order, they were happy to fix it for me.

[Mala experiencia y mala gestión de reclamos] Tenía muchas ganas de conocer este local, especialmente porque recién abrió en Chile. Pedí un Chicken Bacon Ranch de 15 cm ($7.190) para llevar. Ya en mi casa y después de unas tres mordidas me llamó la atención que solo sentía tocino. Abrí el sándwich para revisarlo y, a simple vista, no encontré pollo por ningún lado, por lo que volví al local convencido de que venía sin ese ingrediente. Ahí la encargada del local levantó todo el tocino y me mostró que sí tenía pollo, pero era una porción tan pequeña que estaba completamente escondida (95% tocino 5% pollo). Si para encontrar el ingrediente principal hay que desarmar el sándwich, claramente la proporción de ingredientes no es la esperada. Quiero destacar que tanto el chico que me atendió al comprar como la cajera que recibió mi reclamo después fueron muy amables y profesionales. Mi decepción no fue con ellos, sino con la forma en que la encargada o jefa de local manejó la situación. Llegué con el sándwich correctamente envuelto y dentro de la bolsa en la que me lo habían entregado. Para revisarlo, lo sacaron de la bolsa, abrieron el envoltorio y abrieron el sándwich. Muy bueno! A pasos de el Apumanque, excelente opción si buscan comer algo rico y contundente. Fuimos a la apertura y aprovechamos de probar el The Gargantuan, debo decir que es proteína a la vena, demasiado bueno! Lo recomiendo, ideal para ir en familia, con amigos o la pareja.
