Before you visit a store like this one, it helps to know exactly what you are looking for; naming the model or brand avoids confusion. Prices are in Chilean pesos with VAT included. Credit cards often bring interest-free instalments (cuotas sin interés) and bank promotions, and debit (Redcompra), bank transfers, QR codes and wallets such as Mercado Pago, MACH or Tenpo are widely accepted; small shops may prefer cash or a transfer, so ask first. Malls open every day, roughly from 10:00 to 21:00 or 22:00, with food courts and cinemas; they get packed at weekends, on rainy days and in the winter school holidays, and close on the mandatory retail holidays.

The business lists hours for all seven days of the week. Typical hours are 9:00–20:00. Also bear in mind that 1 January, 1 May, 18 and 19 September and 25 December are mandatory retail holidays, when most shops close. Its website is mallplazadelsol.cl, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 2,559 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect before you commit to a visit.
