If you like beer (schop) and pizza this is the perfect place in Coyhaique. It is located in downtown, few minutes walking from plaza principal. Come with friends and family and deserve your time here. I suggest you to try local pizzas with avocado or lamb...

I had a 1/2 mama guacha and 1/2 pancetta pizza as well as some ceviche i shared with a friend, all of it was fantastic! Also tried some tartare which was also excellent. Good variety of beers and other drinks.

In “A Farewell to Arms”, Ernest Hemingway employs tranquil Italian cafes to symbolize a refuge of safety during WW1. If Hemingway were to write of my trip to Coyhaique, he surely would choose Mamma Gaucha as his refuge. After a long day hiking, this place is a refuge in every sense of the word: cozy tables with a warm fireplace, friendly staff, and delicious pizza that leaves you feeling full, in body and mind. We enjoyed this place so much that we went 4 days in a row after every one of our hikes (or after going to dinner elsewhere and still craving Mamma Gaucha).

Does this place need more reviews? Seems to be a big favourite as there was a big line when we reached, on a weekday evening! And there was a line even as we left about 2 hours later. Phew! The pizza we ate was really good! Tried some interesting drinks that were fun too! The service was great too. We had a rather friendly server! Totally recommend this place for a fun meal if in Coyhaique!

Spontaneously decided to go out to dinner for pizza but then my stomach started hurting so I decided to be safe and order the Cobb Salad… definitely should have just ordered a pizza though. BUT when I asked if I could change the meat to chicken, the waiter said no… I wanted to get the Hot Honey Pepperoni (sub salami for chicken) but changed my mind. While the salad was good, I feel like it was quite overpriced for what it was.
