⚠️ Just a heads-up for anyone traveling through Calama with a rental car: please be VERY careful about leaving luggage in your vehicle, even for a few minutes. Our rental car was broken into shortly after we arrived and our luggage was stolen. We had trackers in some belongings that helped police locate people connected to the theft. I wish we had known how important this warning was before stopping in Calama.

We came here as this is a well known brand, but the pizza was expensive and it took 40 minutes to serve even if the restaurant was empty. Outrageous.
