I arrived in chile not speaking any Spanish. I’m here to ski during the winter. And to check out Santiago. I was recommended Puelo specialty coffee bar by a local. I’ve been here 3 times already and can’t get enough ! Francesca was the best waiter! Recommended the onion cauliflower soup and its most likely the best soup I’ve ever had. Then i got the river salmon salad and fed matcha latte. You really can’t go wrong with anything here.

Is the coffee really good here ? YES ! Do they have some of the best breakfasts i had in Santiago ? Also YES ! I really enjoyed this place for both the coffee and the food. The staff is very nice and the ambiance is lovely. I like it that they have a lot if options that are interesting for food .

Outstanding café from the moment you step in. Beautifully decorated inside and a pleasant outside ambience with the option of sitting under a patio roof or outside surrounded by greenery. We were promptly greeted by a friendly girl wearing a pink jacket, who asked if this was our first time. As I said it was, she showed us around the cafe so we could choose the best table for us. I started with an americano (aiming for a long black). The extraction seemed to be a bit rushed, likely from the grind being a bit too coarse, and even though there was a hint of sweetness, it was lacking the balance of sweet with a pleasant bitterness. Overall, it was still a pleasant coffee. We ordered scrambled eggs cooked in butter, which comes with a generous serve of a delicious home-made sourdough. It would have been nice to have a side of butter included with the dish instead of having to pay for it as an extra. My dish, Cochamo Hummus toast, was an absolute standout! Fresh avocado and beetroot hummus topped with crushed pistachio dukkah was an explosion of well balanced flavours and it was an absolute delight. I added two poached eggs and together it made a heavenly breakfast. Highly recommended.

Hidden gem. I can’t believe I haven’t found this place before. The food was amazing and the place has a perfect balance between cozy and stylish. Brunch was outsizing and I was quite surprise by dinner dishes. Staff was super friendly as well. Totally recommended.
