Great restaurant, they cater for gluten free, lactose free and they can even add specific spices as required. I had their curry pasta meal which was delicious. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Atmosphere was great with indoor and outdoor setting. I recommend this restaurant if you’re after a delicious healthy meal.

Overall phenomenal and highly recommend. Clean and quant dining room. The owner Juan greeted me at the door and was waiting tables. Very genuine gentleman who truly cares about the food as he explained all everything was made to order. Had the spaghetti con carne machada. It was presented beautifully and a decent size portion. Noodles were perfect Al dente and the meat could be cut with a fork and spoon but not total mush. Tiramisu was very legit. Also got a rasberry juice that was homemade and extremely refreshing. 10/10

Fabulous, family run eatery. Both lasagna and spaghetti were cooked perfectly, nice texture. A rare dining experience in five weeks traveling around Chile, the dishes weren't overly salty. Service was friendly and attentive, They weren't busy, and half of the family came out to greet us. Highly recommend.

La Escalera is a must for La Serena. Very fresh ingredients, everything is made to order. Service was warm and homey, the environment was beautiful. We’re hoping to come another time during our stay here!

We saw high rating reviews about this restaurant and stop here for lunch break on the way back to Santiago, 4 minutes off highway 5. The food was amazing delicious, I thought I was in Barcelona or Italy. Customer service was excellent and the vice of the place was really unique. Would come back here again when I’m in town.
