Authentic experience with mouth watering display of food cooked in front of you. Highly recommended- sandwich with grilled meat, sauerkraut, mayo, tomatoes and top it up with melted cheese. One point of improvement- there seemed to be too many staff for the little amount of customers, so the boys were horsing around, one waiter massively slapped another waiter on the arm, they did not give off a professional appearance. And despite their huge amount of staff, it was difficult to get their attention for asking for another beer, bill and getting their unfinished food packed for take away. The design and interior gives you an opportunity to teleport to decades in the last and experience deli like vibes.

We went to Antigua Fuente, established in 1968, and it is easy to see why this place has stood the test of time. The food was amazing, full of flavor, generously portioned, and very reasonably priced. What made it even better was watching the food being cooked right in front of us. Seeing the woman prepare everything fresh added such a personal touch and made the whole experience feel authentic and special. The sandwiches were massive, packed with tender meat and toppings, and every bite was satisfying. Simple comfort food done really well. Antigua Fuente is one of those classic spots that delivers on taste, value, and atmosphere. Definitely worth stopping by if you want hearty food and a glimpse of local tradition.

Nice local experience. You order directly at the counter and can watch the cook preparing all the dishes. After you eat, the waiter brings a slip with your order details, and you just take it to the cashier to pay. The hot dog comes with tomato and avocado, but no salt — though you’ll find salt, ketchup, and mustard at the counter. The bread is delicious, and the portions are generous.
