One of my worst food experiences. I ordered a salmon sandwich and asked to replace the French fries with a mixed salad. The plate arrived dirty, with drops of black, dirty water on it, so I had to clean it myself before eating. The sandwich was listed at 10,950 CLP, but they charged me 17,500 CLP.

I was recommended by a local person to visit this cafe with the iconic figures of Pablo Neruda and Gabriela Mistral having a chat in one of the tables. I really liked the atmosphere and it is a nice place to sit and enjoy. I had a sandwich 🥪 with avocado and meat. Also an apple strudel. It was ok.

A must visit place in Valpasaíso. Great selection of pastry, ice cream, coffee, etc. Great ambience. Historical: Pablo Neruda (and other poets) hangout.

A friend recommended this place because of their lucuma meringue cake, and immediately it became my go-to place during my Valparaiso stay. Not only did they have cold chocolate milk, which my little girl loves but unfortunately not many restaurants had it available. They also have the most attentive and friendly staff and manager, with amazing attention to detail and quality. On one of the days I went in, the manager walked by and noticed something with my dish, and even though I had not complained, since I thought the food was pretty good, the waitress came to me and advised me that I would be going home with a new dish instead of my leftovers! I had the dish for dinner and it was better than the first one, I can honestly say I've never had that experience before, at any other restaurant in any country I have been to. I will absolutely be returning to this wonderful gem when I visit Chile again. -The best things in life are the people we love, the places we've been, and the memories we've made along the way-
