This review is for the tap room next door. The brewery was open and offered bottles for take away. We were visiting via cruise ship and were fortunate that they were open. We arrived on a Thursday and they opened at 11:30am. The taproom was very nice with views of the Straight. Had 2 beer flights and the beers were all on point. We snacked on the empanadas which were delicious. Two ladies next to us order to egg dishes that looked incredible. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Punta Arenas!

We visited Cerveceria Artesanal HdeM nine years ago and met Becky, who was working in the brewery and helped us with beer and merchandise purchases. We came back again earlier this month, and was pleasantly surprised to see Becky again! Her warm smile and caring personality made each of our visits a memorable experience!

Good beers, especially the stout. Note that you can buy for takeaway only, you cannot drink on the premises. Other reviews mention that you can go across the street and enjoy your beverage on the coast, however the employee told me this is illegal and there might be police.
