This is a review of Rosso restaurant in the Parque Arauco Mall. We give Rosso a rating of 4 for the delicious octopus, salmon, avocado and hearts of palm appetizer that I had for my dinner and Sr. Alfredo G., our waiter, who gave us directions to an ATM in the mall. It would be a 2 if it’s purely based on the chicken dish that they served my husband. Not only was it microwaved. It was also a meagre portion and with nothing else to even garnish or make the serving look appetizing.

Parque Arauco is perfectly situated next to the Courtyard by Marriott and just down the street from the Santiago Marriott. As loyal Marriott guests, my fiancée and I were thrilled to discover this mall within easy walking distance of our hotel. From the outside, the complex seems modest, but inside it unfolds into a spacious layout. You’ll find both large and smaller indoor sections linked by an open-air promenade, giving the mall plenty of breathing room and variety. We visited Parque Arauco at least seven times during our two-week stay, drawn by the wide range of shops and restaurants. Whether we were hunting for souvenirs or enjoying a leisurely meal, there was always something to suit our needs. The mall also boasts the closest Starbucks to both Marriott properties, which was perfect for our morning coffee runs. Security is visible throughout the complex, reflecting its popularity and steady crowds every day of the week. Although we always walked from our hotel, we stayed alert for the steady stream of cars entering and exiting the parking garages off Avenida Kennedy. Very cool mall with an open outdoorsy concept. It is very high end with luxury brands all around it, but there are normal priced stores and restaurants too. It doesn't feel cold and uninviting as some malls in the same niche might be. It was worth a visit. Beautiful parks nearby and close to very good hotels in the city.

Great place to shop in Santiago. New and trendy with loads of options. They have a cinema as well. There isn't a supermarket however there are loads of restaurants and even more ice cream parlours. Safety seems to be a priority as there are always guards walking around, which is a good thing at the end of the day. Enjoy!

Great place to shop and eat something. There are a lot of stores here where you may found what you need. There's a cinema and many food options too. The prices may be different in every store, you'll find many offers and deals of the day. Bathrooms are clean and the parking floors are big. Always be careful with your bags.
