Fui de vacaciones a La Serena y estaba con el antojo de comer ostiones frescos, ricos y a buen precio. Preguntando por datos locales me recomendaron la picada "Don Ostión", y ¡qué gran descubrimiento! Es un lugar sencillo, muy estilo caleta pesquera, pero justamente eso lo hace auténtico. Tiene estacionamiento y está ubicado en Cuatro Esquinas, antes de llegar a Hortensia Bustamante. Lo mejor de todo LOS OSTIONES estaban realmente frescos. Los sacan directamente de una piscina donde los mantienen vivos y los traen desde Tongoy. La atención fue muy rápida y muy cordial. Pedimos una bandeja de 24 ostiones por $10.000… ¡maravillosos! Frescos, grandes y deliciosos. Dato importante: solo aceptan efectivo o transferencia. Si andas por La Serena y quieres comer mariscos frescos sin pagar precios turísticos, este lugar es un imperdible. 100% recomendado.
