This restaurant was most enjoyable.Especially when the night was so wet.It was warm and welcoming.We found the service attentive and friendly.We ordered the Biste a lo pobre, which was beautifully cooked and the chips ,crisp and tasty.Over all ,highly recommended.

This is the place to go for authentic Chilean cuisine and it was one of the best meals we've had in Chile. It's not fancy, but portions are large and the price very reasonable. The Completo sandwich was very good and the Merluza (cooked Basque style) was even better.

We were met at the doot by the owner’s daughter who was so very warm and friendly. We started with the salmon ceviche which was melt in your mouth good in a delicious sauce. Then, the Fettuccini Doña Maria, the delicate flavors were amazing. We moved onto the Lomo Liso and a side of vereduras. The steak was done perfectly, the veggies were savoury and the mushroom sauce makes my mouth water even now. We finished the meal with Leche Asada, and I will only sound redundant now at how good it was. It was the recipe of the restaurant’s namesake, unchanged and delicious. Our server was a kind and engaging young man who made us feel right at home. The young lass who was assisting was equally charming. This was the perfect way to start our holiday in Chile. Fantastic.
