Delicious empanadas! El Remanso serves them fresh, flavorful, and generously filled. A perfect stop for a quick bite—tasty, satisfying, and great value. What made the visit even better was the warm local vibe. A local even bought me a Chilean juice, and people were happy to chat with a gringo like me. It was a really genuine and pleasant experience. A perfect stop for great food and friendly atmosphere.

We ordered some meat empanadas and they were very good. The people inside need to be a little nicer with the customer because looks like after you pay you are bothering them. Plus we went to eat outside and there was a dog following us for food.

If you wish to experience the very, very, very, very best Empanadas on the planet, let alone in Chile, then this is the place to visit. The range of Empandas are wide, but, it does not stop there. The pastry is light, not heavy at all, and the taste is superb. I had a meat based Empanada, but, there are plenty of other options. I cannot rate this small eatery any higher. It is a gem of a find and a must visit place to experience a high quality dish from South America.

The best empanadas that I have ever eaten, and being a Chilean guy I have eaten a lot of empanadas in my life. This place is generally very busy but it's still really fast, the price is adequate for its quality and you can eat your empanada in the same place if you want.

It was very lucky that the line wasn’t long when we got there. Empanadas in Chile are generally big, so is El Remanso. Our favorite one is pino (grounded beef with onion) without any doubt. I also like the one with mushroom and queso. Shrimp empanada wasn’t bad either, but I expect there were more shrimps.
