We had a fantastic dinner while visiting Chillan. We stopped on the way from Santiago to Pucon to see the Nevados de Chillan, and a Chilean friend recommended Fuego. They have a large menu of grilled meat, seafood, pasta, and local Chilean appetizers and salads. Meat is definitely the focus, with a large wood asado that you can smell when you are outside. Nice intimate atmosphere, friendly staff that is attentive but is not overbearing, and a nice selection of wine and cocktails.

Website is DECEIVING. It allows you to make reservations online when the restaurant is closed!, gives you inaccurate times of operation and when you call them they don't give a damn.
