La Casa Del Chef is one of the 6 million Peruvian restaurants in Chile. It's very average in many ways: not cheap nor expensive, a medium sized selection of plates, no particular emphasis on seafood, not big nor small. The one thing they seem to do better than most is their selection of cocktails. The quality of the food leaves nothing to desire however. It would have bumped the score to perhaps 4 stars if some small imperfections in the service hadn't been there. Most Peruvians have a much better grasp of customer service than Chileans but that fails if you can't remember the order and are too 'professional' to write it down.

We had a Filete Mignon and an Ají de Gallina with Pisco Sour Catedral... everything was good but the bone we found in the Ají de Gallina (chicken).
