Highly highly recommend staying here while in Coyhaique. Leandre, our host, was the kindest and most generous we have had so far in South America. The rooms are spacious and clean. The shower has lovely hot water. Breakfast also included. Great for a short stay.

Really nice guest house in Coyhaique! The room provides everything one needs and is kind of cozy. The host, Leandre, is super friendly & helpful. She really supported us in figuring out the bus schedules for getting to Villa O‘Higgins. ¡Muchas gracias!

I had a fantastic stay at La Ruta Aysén in Coyhaique. The hostel is clean, comfortable, and well-located, making it an ideal place to stay while exploring the region. A very special thanks to Leandra and her brother, who run the hostel with such warmth and care. Leandra, in particular, was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout my stay. She was always communicative, accessible, and ready to assist with anything I needed. On top of that, she prepared a delicious breakfast each morning, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The hostel is also a restaurant that serves excellent meals, which was a real highlight. The food was delicious and gave me the chance to enjoy home-style cooking in a welcoming environment. Their hospitality and dedication made me feel truly welcomed and at home. I would highly recommend La Ruta Aysén to anyone looking for not only a place to stay, but also a place where you are genuinely cared for and well fed.
