A very, very average café. I had been eyeing this place for a while since it’s located in a beautiful mansion in a residential area and even has its own small parking lot (about 5–6 spots). I expected a café with a nice selection of pastries, but honestly, the choice was quite mediocre. It seems that much of their production is aimed at delivery or even resale in small shops rather than being freshly made for in-house customers. There were muffins wrapped in plastic, sandwiches also pre-packed, some cookies, sliced cakes, and open pies with fillings. They also displayed sample cakes, but every single one was covered in fondant—apparently these are made to order for special occasions. For weddings or similar events, orders need to be placed a year or even two years in advance, which feels a bit excessive. We happened to see boxes being packed with mini tarts (shortcrust pastry baskets with cream), and those actually looked decent. Another showcase had ready-made cakes that reminded me of the ones you can find in chain supermarkets. They made me a beautiful custom cake for my wedding anniversary. My only complaint is that the smallest possible cake is for 20 people. I wish they offered smaller sizes.
