Guillermo was both very friendly and incredibly helpful! We rented backpacks, sleeping bags, cooking gear and poles for our W Trek in Torres del Paine. All the gear was great quality (and well priced too), and Guillermo took the time to explain how to use all the gear and shared helpful tips for our trek! Fab service - definitely recommend!

I rented trekking poles and a headlamp here for the W Trek, and honestly the gear was SOOOO BAD. One of the poles kept loosening and collapsing and I couldn’t fix it at all, which was super unsafe while hiking. The headlamp basically had no battery. On my last day, I started hiking before sunrise and it was super dim, almost useless and honestly it’s scary in the dark. I could have fallen off the huge rocks. The process was also frustrating. I had told them when I’d be back from the trail, but there was no follow-up at all. Then the next day I texted them and later I found that I was charged for an extra day without any prior notice. They also took a deposit of over $700, which is ridiculous. The refund was slow, and I only realized something was off after checking my bank statement and had to follow up myself. Also realized later it cost more than buying brand new gear at nearby shops, which is kind of ridiculous given the quality and the service. Would recommend going somewhere else.

Great rental experience for the W trek! We rented backpacks, ice crampons, and hiking poles—all in excellent condition. The staff was very helpful in advising us on what we needed based on current conditions. Everything performed perfectly, and our bag contents stayed completely dry. Highly recommend!

Great products and service! We rented sleeping bags here for the O Trek and they were incredibly warm but lightweight. The staff spoke excellent English and were were easy to work with and gave us great recommendations for other things in town. Highly recommend!

Fantastic rental shop. My bag was lost on the flight over so I had very little time to organise all the gear to do the O trail. On very short notice the brilliant staff at Rental Natales set up all I needed to complete the trail. Backpack, sleeping bag, poles, cooking utensils, sleeping matt and dehydrated food. All the equipment is quality and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Thank you again. 5 stars ⭐️
