We ordered the Lomo Saltado and the Ceviche. The beef in the Lomo Saltado was decent, although the rice wasn’t really to my taste. The surprise of the meal was the ceviche. The fish was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and prepared beautifully. Definitely the highlight of the visit. Service was excellent throughout. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Wow! I can’t believe I waited until my last night in Santiago to try TACU TACU. This was easily one of the best meals I have ever had in my life. My relatives live just across the river from this restaurant, and they hadn’t heard of it. Now they will definitely know about it. I started with a Pisco Sour Catedral (I took the picture after I’d had a couple sips). It was tasty and strong. I ordered the Pulpo Al Olivo (Olivo Octopus) and TACU TACU con Lomo Saltado (TACU TACU with Stir-Fried Tenderloin). The octopus dish was a work of art and (after taking a picture), I had the bite the bullet and eat it. It was delicious. The Stir-Fried tenderloin was so, so good. It was done perfectly and was so darn tasty. I should have just ordered one of the two dishes, because there was no way I could finish both. For dessert (there is always room for dessert, right?). The waiter recommended the Crema Volteada (Flipped Cream). I had that and the tea. Both were so tasty. The Crema was like a Flan, but airier. Anyway, I can’t recommend TACU TACU highly enough. There is a reason it has 4.8 stars.

Wonderful! Truly memorable. I guess most people would come for the seafood; I didn’t. I asked for a 4-cheese beef Tacu Tacu (it’s not on the menu, but they were happy to accommodate). Beyond awesome! Super tender and great-quality meat, perfectly cooked to what I ordered, with a super yummy sauce (and the beans and rice proper of the dish). Super recommended!

It’s like fate, we selected this restaurant for our lunch and not knowing we were at the exact same restaurant last year around this time until we almost reached the door steps, we thought about maybe try a different one, but we had such good memory last time so why not do it again? :). It really didn’t disappoint, both dishes are delicious, reasonably priced and portioned (consider the food price index in Chile is quite high, probably even higher than US).

This place is a gem! Authentic, delicious Peruvian food. On top of that, the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. Our waiter mentioned that most of the people working in the kitchen and in customer service are Peruvians, and you can truly notice it in the amazing flavors of the dishes and the warm attention from everyone at the restaurant. We had such a great time here! A must-visit for anyone who enjoys authentic Peruvian food!
