I don't shop there very often anymore, because the lines are quite long and you can spend more than half an hour waiting in line. But the prices are good and the staff people are kind and competent. Overall an okay experience. The early morning is best for avoiding the long lines.

This Unimarc is a cut above the others we’ve shopped at driving down Chile. Indeed this is the best supermarket in Coyahique with HiperPatagónico a close second. Between the two you can find everything you need. Unimarc has yogurt in all flavors and organic maple syrup. That was a first. HiperPatagonico has horseradish. Go wild in your camper and enjoy shopping. The outside parking lot is weird as it only has one entrance and it’s marked as exit only. Tall campers will fit. And there’s an attached Cruz verde pharmacy.

We traveled to this specific Unimark all the way from the Northern Hemisphere after thoughly perusing every review. We simply had to make up our minds for ourselves. Here follows the full chronicle of our experience. Unimarc is situated in a very safe area in Coyhaiqe. There are street vendors and stray dogs outside which add to the ambiance and create a more immersive experience for the customer. The first mission was to get a gondola, which we located instantly before even entering the store. Furthermore, as seen in attached photos, there was a plentiful selection of additional gondolas inside. After getting our gondola, which moved smoothly through the store, our first stop was to visit the oil. the oil was well stacked on rustic wooden pallets, conveniently located near the front of the unimarc. Every corner we turned brought new surprises, from sugar with crayons to an open bag of chips laying near a children's craft kit. We appreciated the way this design enabled us to see products in action, not just in closed packages. There were also tortillas which was nice. Holy guacamole, this place is a giant warehouse full of food and people. Today they were fully stocked with everything we needed, had awesome selections, and all the lines went super quickly. Prices are definitely cheaper than other places but this is where everyone in 100milescomes to get groceries. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare.
