Hostel Po is wonderful! With so many hostel options in Valparaiso my friend and I were so happy we picked Hostal Po! Located in a great part of town and super clean and vibrant! The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The kitchen and common spaces are homey and the bedroom spacious and warm. Showers hot and clean. It was a great landing pad with everything we would want in a hostel. Would stay again and again and we will tell our friends. Muchas gracias!

Loved staying at hostal po! Perfect location for checking out the cerros, staff were lovely and helpful with things to do around Valpo. There was even a home made pizza night! It's really nice having sunshine coming through the huge skylights in the common area and even into our bedroom in the afternoon. Very clean bathrooms and kitchen which is always nice and felt secure with the key system for both the entrance and our room. Thanks so much guys!

We stayed here for a bit over a week and it was amazing. The hostel is beautiful with lots of art and murals everywhere. The hosts are so helpful, lovely and friendly and even invited us up for drinks on our first night. The room was comfortable and the kitchen/ common room area was great! You have everything you need to cook anything in there and very spacious. The location is perfect for seeing the local art and exploring the shops nearby as it is all easily accessible on foot. Overall would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Valparaíso as their shared rooms and private rooms are wonderful (we tried both).

I don't often leave reviews but Hostel Po is the kind of place that motivates me to sit and think how to put such an incredible experience into words. As soon as I walked in the door I felt at home. At check in, the staff showed me around the hostel and it was clear from the first moment that it wasn't just a job for them, they are genuinely interested in meeting and hanging out with every traveler who shows up. The hostel is a perfect size, big enough to you meet new people and have epic parties but small enough to get to know everybody. The upstairs common area draws people together better than any common area I've seen in any other hostel. Location is perfect, the mattresses are new and comfortable, the showers have hot water and good pressure, the kitchen has everything you need to cook a big meal for the whole hostel. Just watch out, your future travel plans might get lost when you decide to stay there longer instead! My booking was for 3 days but that wasn't enough; in the end I stayed 17. And I'll be back for sure because that's the place I felt the best. Hostel Po is the perfect place for the kind of traveler without strict plans, whose priorities are to meet and hang out
