Nice hotel! The location is in the heart of Santiago, but it can be a bit dangerous at night. All staff were friendly to us and helped us when we needed. Breakfast was good, we loved the waffles specifically. Our room was big and had two bathrooms (two showers, but only one toilet seat), the cleaners did an amazing job, everything was clean and new towels everyday.

This is our first time visiting Chile. The purpose of our trip is to board a cruise departing from the coastal port of San Antonio. We arrived two and a half days early so we wouldn’t have a rushed schedule. When we arrived at the hotel, it was still early, and the front desk gentleman, Nicolas, kindly helped us store our luggage. The front desk lady, Carolina, warmly walked with us out to the street, showed us where we could find food, and reminded us to stay safe. She also gave us suggestions for our plans the next day. We decided to take one of the hop-on-hop-off sightseeing buses, getting on and off wherever we wanted, just to look around as casual tourists. On the morning before we were set to leave, Carolina helped us book a taxi to the bus station, where we would take a bus to the coast for our cruise. That evening, the bus company emailed to change our reservation—changing the location of the bus station to a place farther away and also a different time. So I asked Nicolas at the front desk once more to call the taxi company to change the pickup time, destination, and price. Stayed here for 4 nights in twin room, despite the not so pleasant reviews. However I was pleasantly surprised that it was ok. Staff at check in is friendly. Room is dated but I find it ok. AC is window unit not centralised. Wifi is ok but can be slow on few occasions. Breakfast was very good though it’s the same food. Downsides are that the beds are on wheels so it moves while you sleep which I find it annoying, shower is low pressure and a bit dangerous as you shower in the badly-designed narrow tub. Location is centralised but we felt a bit unsafe when we arrived on Sun night where all shops are closed and very few people on the streets. I will still recommend it as I think it’s great value.
