First things first. Can I recommend staying at Hotel Las Vicuñas? YES. We stayed for 4 nights and from the first moment of our arrival we were greeted by the owner and had a great communication throughout our stay. We had some difficulties in the beginning and got help immediately which made us feel even more welcome and at home. The room got cozy warm through a heater at night and had a big and warm bed. Very positive was also the nice hot shower in the evening! We booked a whole day tour with the brothers and had the best experience we could’ve asked for. We got many information about the area and the history. Memories that will stay with us! The whole team was very friendly and respectful, even though we had a language barrier they tried to make conversation. If you are coming to Putre: book this hotel. Also really nice: the three big puppies (aka Schäferhunde) 🙏🏽

The owner was exceptionally kind and welcoming and made us feel at home from the very beginning. During our stay at Las Vicuñas in Putre, we truly appreciated the warm hospitality, peaceful atmosphere, and helpful recommendations for exploring the area and Lauca National Park. The rooms were clean, cozy, and warm during the cold nights, and the location was perfect for relaxing after the long journey into the Altiplano. You can really feel that the owner puts heart into this place. We are very grateful for the hospitality and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful 😍 place in Putre, which is in the Alto Plano of Chile. Rooms are large and clean. Fully equipped bathroom. You can get gorgeous food and and astonishing large variety of wine. The service is really excellent. The owners, two brothers, are very friendly and helpful. I've stayed with Rotel from Germany. I'll come back when I am back in this area. Thanks a lot.

The accommodations are basic but the service is exceptional. Family owned business with a rich history and knowledge of the area. Stefan and his family gave us many incredible reccomendations and ensured we have everything we needed for exploring Putre and the surrounding nature.
