Lovely quick light lunch at Maña Cafe. You can order to go or be seated with a server. The interior has an industrial vibe but is tastefully done. The server we had was really friendly despite the language barrier on our end. They have alternative milk options including oat milk, and my husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed our coffee. It was among the best we’ve had on our trip. I ordered the avocado, mushroom, and chive toast and my husband ordered the pastrami sandwich. My toast was delicious and the flavors went really well together. It did fall apart and I assume that’s because of the mushroom’s high moisture content. My husband liked his pastrami sandwich quite a bit but wished there was a little less mayo. I tried it and thought it was quite good with the sun-dried tomatoes.

Un cafecito en pleno centro de Santiago. Para ir a trabajar y tomar un buen café es ideal. El espacio es grande, tienen bastantes mesas, ofrecen café, galletitas, almuerzos, está bastante variado. Tomamos un filtrado de México y estuvo genial. También pedí una galleta de chocolate con una crema de naranja que estaba demasiado buena. El servicio podría mejorar, los garzones estar como más pendiente, pero de resto está genial tomar un cafecito ahí. Lo malo? Cómo todos los locales del centro... Cierran a las 6 de la tarde.

This spot has the ingredients for a great modern café, but it’s lacking in some key areas. They start strong with some great coffee, but the minimal (almost brutalist) interior lacks warmth and is very uninviting. Then there’s the pastry area which is almost empty, with many in plastic boxes – zero points for presentation there. And finally, the service is not rude, but far from friendly. I’d say there’s an overall vibe of indifference. If you purely want good coffee, it’s a great spot; but if you want a pleasant café vibe, Maña may not be what you’re looking for.

Very nice and friendly staff. They have very good coffee here, espresso tonic would be probably my favorite ☺️☕
