Food was good. I tied abalone and octopus - both were delicious. Tiramisu was too sweet for me. Also green tea was a cheap tea bag. Restaurant of this level should have better tea.

We wanted to try this stunning venue on the park for the views alone. Hoping the uber ride up the highway was worth it we showed up ready for a nice afternoon (perfect weather too). We got seated at a table facing directly onto the park which initially seemed excellent, but as the afternoon passed we realised the waitstaff couldn’t see us (behind a wall) and therefore rarely visited & forgot about us. After a long wait (20 mins) we ordered a bottle of wine, water, entree, mains & sides… we then waited another 15-20 mins for the drinks to arrived (seemed like an eternity) and when the food came they delivered all our food at once :O when questioned the waiter simply said “the kitchen is busy so the prepared all your meal together”, the obvious problem with this is that we had no chance of eating the food before it went cold & spoiled.. we managed to send one of the entree dishes back but it was still quite annoying. The food was certainly tasty. Thankfully the view and the vibe were outstanding, definitely a place to be seen on a Sunday afternoon in Santiago.

Mestizo is perfectly located within the beautiful Parque Bicentenario. It’s a very spacious restaurant with a great atmosphere, making it an excellent place to relax with friends and family. The food was excellent—the empanadas were a highlight, and the churros were the perfect way to end the meal. A wonderful spot to enjoy a high-quality lunch or dinner while taking in the park views.

Great place for lunch. It was open on Labor Day and we had a delicious lunch there - risotto Del Mar and risotto mascarpone with osso bucco. Really really good. It was very crowded at lunch but I am guessing that was because it was a holiday. Great lunch!

We had an amazing experience at Mestizo. It was our last evening as a group of tourists in Chile and we felt very welcome even if we didn’t have a reservation. Our waiter Marlon was super helpful and patient with the many questions we had. The food and selection of wines were amazing. Can only recommend!
