I really enjoyed my experience there. The service was great, they helped me choose my second empanada because there are so many choices. Both empanadas were very good and large (I'm not complaining). The service was friendly, the atmosphere was calm. I will return if I go back to Santiago.

Been looking for a good empanada in Santiago, and we found them at La Metropolitana. Baked empanadas are good, but fried are better. The spinach we really enjoyed, but the mechada was our favorite. Only gripe was too much cheese took away from the meat a little, but better too much than not enough. P.S.: They messed up and gave us pino marisco by mistake, but they quickly fixed it when we told them. Great service.

If you’re a tourist looking for some authentic Chilean empanadas, come here! They’re super delicious. The customer service is excellent. They didn’t get our order right (probably because something was lost in translation…our fault). They quickly corrected everything and were very nice about it. Great empanadas!
