The best thing about this place is the location. However, from the moment I arrived, the welcome was terrible. I showed up with my son about an hour earlier than their check-in time, but they weren’t even willing to let us use the bathroom—we weren’t allowed inside at all. Zero empathy, especially considering I was traveling with a child. Once we finally got in, it became clear that the hostel is quite disappointing—basically an old house that’s been superficially painted and dressed up. In my room, the bathroom makes loud noises due to poor maintenance, and the kitchen faucets drip constantly, making noise throughout the night. The place has empty, purposeless spaces with little to no decoration. There’s no heating, even though nights are already very cold (it’s May), and the blankets provided are too small for a double bed. To make matters worse, we paid for breakfast, but in the morning there was no one at the hostel and no breakfast available for us. Overall, this is an expensive hostel that simply isn’t worth the price. You’re better off renting an apartment—at least you won’t expect any service, which ends up being preferable compared to places like this. There wasn’t even a

Stayed at the hostel and volunteered for about three weeks. Wonderful wonderful location with a great vibe! There were weekly activities and being so close to the beach was a huge perk. Would certainly come back ☺️

Had a fantastic stay here for two nights. Stones throw from the beach and right on the coastal road with all the bars etc. The owners were very helpful and welcoming, they have only just started up so was glad I could support them. In due course the place will be setup for cost effective stays with space for digital nomads to work in a purpose built work space. Below the hostel is a co-op food spot with a good variety of food. Would not hesitate to return in the future.
