Horrible experience, especially the manager Linda, a very rude woman, on Monday she and her friends were drinking in the kitchen, screaming and with loud music, it was 23.30 and I talked to her because we couldn't sleep, and she just laughed and said the rules are until 00, but for us is 22? So she can be loud but not us? Also on Saturday night the police came for her so it was loud outside, just to mention a few situations cuz overall we had a really bad experience

We really wanted to stay here because of the location, how nice the staff were and the cost of the rooms. Unfortunately when we checked in I did a perimeter bed bug check and found two bugs crawling along the floor behind the bed. The staff were very apologetic and accommodating and gave us a full refund.

We planned to stay in the hostel for three days. We actually stayed for one night because we discovered that the room had bed bugs. Both me and my partner were stung and they also got into our personal equipment. When we asked one of the employees, it turns out that the problem was known to them in advance and they didn't bother to inform the guests about it. An unfortunate and unpleasant experience that ruined the rest of our vacation in the city and caused us to spend a lot of money on health costs, laundry and alternative accommodation. One thing to praise, the staff helped us with everything we asked for and let us wash our clothes with them, in addition the place reimbursed us part of the financial costs.

Yogi Hostels is a very organised and clean hostel that is well located in a safe and peaceful neighbourhood, with a minimarket located right next door. The private rooms and dorm rooms are clean and well furbished (I stayed in three different rooms during my stay, I extended my stay more than once). The wifi works very well throughout the establishment, and I got download speeds of up to 400mb/s downstairs. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessary things. During my stay, there was a very good atmosphere with the other guests, and all seemed respectful, with no one taking my food from the fridge. The best thing about the hostel, is that the staff are very open, very friendly, and very accomodating. Having stayed in hundreds of hostels and as a hostel owner myself (in Costa Rica), I have a good judgement of the price to value ratio of various accommodations. For me, I think that this must be the best hostel in Santiago, as it does everything very well and at an unbeatable price relative to the competition.
