In Chile lunch is the main meal of the day, roughly from 13:00 to 15:00, once (afternoon tea) comes between 17:00 and 19:00 and dinner rarely starts before 20:30, busiest at weekends. At lunchtime many places serve a menú del día (set lunch), the bill shows a suggested 10% tip that is voluntary, and in the cities almost everything can be ordered for delivery through PedidosYa, Uber Eats or Rappi. At the bakery the stars are freshly baked marraqueta and hallulla, bought twice a day in many neighbourhoods, in the morning and for once; amasanderías sell hand-kneaded pan amasado and dobladitas, and in the south there is always kuchen.

The business lists hours for all seven days of the week. The most common schedule is 7:30–20:00. Also bear in mind that 1 January, 1 May, 18 and 19 September and 25 December are mandatory retail holidays, when most shops close. The listed phone number is 2 2335 0398. Feeling like I'm in Paris, savoring a freshly baked croissant with a perfectly brewed espresso... but with a much friendlier service and a view overlooking the Alliance Française :-)

Delicious pastries, good coffee, attention is slow. Cigarette smoke is profound outdoors.

Super delicious! We ordered Bife Chorizo and fries. The beef was the same quality as in Argentina. The fries are gorgeous! The atmosphere is also very nice. Highly recommended!

French inspired pastry/bakery breakfast restaurant around the corner from the Ritz-Carlton hotel. Half of the establishment is to-go and the other offers sit down options. The cappuccino was excellent and the sevice was friendly. Sadly, the croque monsieur was dry and tasteless. It was not prepared in the classical manner (which there are many variants) of dipping the bread in the egg or application of enough butter to change the consistency of the bread to absorb the melted cheese. Ultimately, it was inedible tasting like a stale grilled cheese. Clearly I ordered the wrong item! I would stick to the pastries and coffee! I refuse to leave bad reviews since the business is very hard. I hope they make changes to the menu to modify the recipe or delete the offering though.

The French renowned bakery, has two places in Santiago. One at Augusto Leguía street and the second, at Luis Pasteur street. Had an excellent breakfast, with warm croissants superb coffee. My friend had a Latte, with the typical leaf design between the white milk and brown coffee. Service was good as well as the variety of pastry available to take home.
