Host was a star - really kind & helpful, went the extra mile for us a few times during our stay. Room was comfortable and shower hot & strong. I see some folk found the neighbourhood ‘sketchy’ - I can only say this wasn’t our experience: we ate locally, visited local shops, and found the short walk into town fine.

Incredibly sketchy neighborhood especially when walking back at night. They've decided on a 1030 checkout which is not usual in most hotels/hostels but the owner was incredibly rude when I was asked for a few more minutes since we didn't know about it.

Absolutely adored our stay in Punta Arenas at the hostel hosted by Arturo. Had booked one night at the beginning of a road trip but delighted to return for another nights stay. Arturo went above and beyond to ensure we were accommodated and comfortable, even packing us a morning snack as we were going to miss breakfast. Cannot recommend this say more highly, rooms very comfortable, warm with hot shower. Thank you again to Arturo!
