- BED BUGS, no apology, and sneaky charges - Stayed twice in April 2026, on either end of the W Trek. Both nights booked in advance with no way to arrange alternatives mid-trek. On the first night I woke at 1:45am to find a bed bug on me. The receptionist came to witness it and moved us to another room. I told reception I wouldn't be paying and asked the receptionist to tell the manager to call me if there was any issue. He never did. I then spent five days on the W Trek exhausted and in constant discomfort from the bites, which left large welts. Again, no response or apology upon return after the trek as planned. Manager again nowhere to be found. Reiterated with reception that I wouldn't pay. Again, silence and no follow up. They let us check out the next day with a smile. No invoices. Zero apology. Both nights were quietly charged to my card anyway. I had to professionally disinfect all my luggage upon returning home (USD 320!). I have since sent two formal emails, neither has received a response. Hotel is nice on its own with pool amenities but I recommend avoiding the risk.

Great hotel after hiking the W-trek. The walls were thin and the rooms were very hot at night which led us to having the windows open all night and the radiator turned off. We only had 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel and could have used a couple of wash cloths. We loved the breakfast and the people at the front desk were very helpful and friendly.

Avant garde purpose-built hotel had me asking if it had been a warehouse. Lots of concrete and black metal with an odd dilapidated looking exterior. The room score would be higher but the beds and sheets were marginal. Also a charge for more coffee pods? Good staff. Great location. Not a bad choice if you're in P.N. Head to Dina's up the street for a quick bite. Skate park across street is a plus or minus...local color?
